Kabsons Industries Ltd, originally established as Ellipse Industries Limited in 1992, is a comprehensive provider of LPG-related products such as cylinders, regulators, valves, fittings, adaptors, and natural gas regulators. The company, which rebranded in 1993, is involved in bottling and selling LPG under the brand name 'KABSONS'. It initiated a public offering in 1994 to finance a manufacturing plant for 6 kg gas cylinders and established gas filling plants across 14 locations in India, focusing on domestic and industrial sectors.
Kabsons expanded its operations by collaborating with SHV Energy India Pvt Ltd in 1996 to ensure sufficient LPG supply and automated its Baroda plant. In 1999-2000, it partnered with Reliance Petroleum Ltd for gas bottling at Baroda and commissioned a plant in Ranchi. Despite deferring some projects due to market conditions, it began bottling operations for Bharat Petroleum at Ranchi in 2011 and launched LPG cylinder distribution from its Palej bottling plant in Gujarat in 2016.
