K G Denim Limited (KGDL), established as a public limited company in June 1992, is a prominent Indian manufacturer specializing in denim fabrics, apparel fabrics, home textiles, and garments. The company, spearheaded by K G Naidu and Kannapiran Mills, commenced commercial operations in January 1994 with a production facility in Jadayam Palayam, Tamil Nadu. Initially equipped with an annual capacity of 10.5 million meters, KGDL expanded its manufacturing capabilities in 1997 to 19 million meters per annum by setting up a 100% Export-Oriented Unit (EOU).
KGDL supplies denim to major brands including Levi's, Lee, Proline, and Park Avenue, and has also launched its own jeans brand, 'Trigger', available in select Indian markets. The company's infrastructure includes a captive ring, open-end spinning plants, and a co-generation power plant, indicating a focus on integrated production and energy efficiency.
