Jumbo Bag Ltd. (JBL), a part of the Rs.15 Crore BLISS Group, was founded in November 1990 and became a public company in October 1991. Specializing in the manufacture and sale of polymer-based woven bags, JBL leverages a technical collaboration with Structure Flex (SFL), UK, for producing jumbo bags. The company boasts a diverse international market, serving customers in over 30 countries with customizable, value-added bags. Key markets include industries such as chemicals, fertilizers, and pharmaceuticals, which are increasingly adopting flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC).
JBL has continually expanded its capabilities, establishing a 100% export-oriented unit and signing significant agreements, such as with a Japanese firm for hygiene bags, enhancing its export credentials. In 2009, it became a Del - Credere Associate for Indian Oil Corporation in select Indian states. Recently, a new production unit in Tamil Nadu was launched in 2017 to enhance internal control over pricing and quality.
