About Jayant Agro Organics Ltd Jayant Agro Organics Ltd (JAOL), part of the Jayant Oil Mills Group, was established in 1992. The company specializes in manufacturing and trading castor oil and its derivatives, which are used in various industries including paints, varnishes, inks, and lubricants. Over the years, JAOL has expanded its production capabilities, including refining and hydrogenating castor oil, and has focused on value-added products. Significant milestones include the expansion of hydrogenated castor oil capacity and the setup of a division for import and export activities.
Through strategic investments, JAOL enhanced its operations with backward integration by establishing Ihsedu Agrochem Pvt. Ltd. for castor seed crushing and acquiring Ihsedu Speciality Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. and Ihsedu Coreagri Services Pvt. Ltd. as subsidiaries. Jayant Finvest Limited, part of the promoter group, became the holding company in 2012, increasing its stake to over 50%. In 2014-15, JAOL diversified into renewable energy with the installation of wind turbines, highlighting its commitment to sustainable practices.
