IRB InvIT Fund is India's first listed infrastructure investment trust focusing on toll-road assets. Established under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India, it primarily manages six toll-road assets across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. These assets are operated under concessions from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Sponsored by IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, a prominent player in India's roads and highways sector, IRB InvIT Fund leverages the sponsor's extensive portfolio of road projects. Key projects include the Bharuch-Surat and Surat-Dahisar sections of NH 8, Jaipur-Deoli NH 12, and the Omalur-Salem-Namakkal NH 7. Recently, the trust expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Padra-Vadodara section of the Vadodara-Kim Expressway. Through strategic asset management and development, IRB InvIT Fund aims to optimize revenue from toll collections while maintaining robust infrastructure standards.
