About IRB Infrastructure Trust IRB Infrastructure Trust, a registered 'Private Trust' under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 and SEBI's Infrastructure Investment Trusts Regulations 2014, is predominantly sponsored by IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd., holding a 51% stake, and GIC with 49%. The Trust operates a comprehensive portfolio of toll road assets across several Indian states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Haryana, and West Bengal, under concessions granted by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). In April 2023, its units were listed on the National Stock Exchange of India. The Trust has a significant presence in the infrastructure sector with 14 highway assets managed under various Nodal Agencies' concessions. It undertook a successful Initial Public Offering in April 2022, raising Rs 244.30 million. Key projects include the operationalization of major six-lane and four-lane highways such as the Kaithal Rajasthan and Agra Etawah projects. The Trust also acquired a majority stake in the Palsit Dankuni BOT Project SPV, enhancing its strategic road asset portfolio.
