INDO-MIM Limited (formerly A F Technologies India Private Limited, incorporated April 12, 1996) transitioned through multiple name changes before converting from a private company to a public company and adopting its current name on January 12, 2024. The company began business operations in 1997, expanded into China in 2011, and commenced operations in Germany in 2021.
It is a leading global supplier of engineered components manufactured using technologies such as Metal Injection Molding (MIM), Investment Casting, Precision Machining, 3D printing, and Ceramic Injection Molding. INDO-MIM operates 15 manufacturing facilities across four countries: six in India, six in the United States, two in the United Kingdom, and one in Mexico, with Indian facilities located in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
The company serves a broad set of end markets including automotive OEMs, defence, medical devices, consumer durables, and aerospace. Automotive products include components for vehicle safety, fuel systems, powertrains, and interior applications. Defence offerings include firearm parts such as triggers, hammers, and sights. Medical components are used in surgical devices for endoscopy, laparoscopy, dental robotics, and orthopedics, while consumer products include fashion accessories, crossbow parts, cellphone components, and tools/hardware. Aerospace components include manifolds, precision housings, adaptors and tees, servo motor housings, nozzles and locking rings, and clevises and brackets.
Gowri Ventures Private Limited (formerly a wholly owned subsidiary) was merged into the company in 2013. Key overseas subsidiaries operating in the same line of business include Indo-MIM Inc., Triax Industries, LLC, Indo-MIM México, S. de R.L. DE C.V, Conway Marsh Garrett Technologies Limited, and Phoenix DeVentures II Inc. The company is planning an IPO comprising a fresh issue of Rs 1,000 crore (equity shares of face value Re 1) and an offer for sale of 129,674,393 equity shares.
