About India Pesticides Ltd India Pesticides Limited, established in 1984 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, operates in the agrochemical industry, focusing on manufacturing, selling, and distributing insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. The company has manufacturing sites in Sandila and Dewa Road, Uttar Pradesh, and has incrementally increased its production capacity over recent years. In 2021, India Pesticides expanded its technical capacity at Sandila by 2,500 MT, and further increased it by 2,700 MT in 2023-24, culminating in a total capacity of 24,200 MT.
The company underwent a significant corporate restructuring by splitting its shares and issuing bonus shares in late 2020 and early 2021. It successfully raised Rs 800 crore through an IPO in July 2021, which included a fresh issue and an offer for sale. Furthermore, India Pesticides expanded its business operations by incorporating new subsidiaries, such as Shalvis Specialities Limited in 2021 and Amona Specialities Private Limited in 2024.
