IC Electricals Company Limited was incorporated on August 05, 2005 as IC Electricals Company Private Limited under the Companies Act, 1956 with the Registrar of Companies, Delhi and Haryana. It was subsequently converted into a public limited company, receiving a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated September 23, 2024 from the Central Processing Centre.
The company operates three manufacturing units in Haridwar and provides advanced engineering solutions to Indian Railways. Its electronic product portfolio includes regulators, battery chargers, emergency lights, inverters, microprocessor-based control systems, and vigilance control devices, designed to meet the latest technical standards. It also manufactures key railway components such as alternators, traction motors, and permanent magnet alternators with controllers.
These electronic solutions support critical on-board functions in railway coaches by enabling reliable power regulation, lighting, control, and monitoring, contributing to performance and safety improvements. In parallel, the company undertakes turnkey railway electrification projects, covering the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 25 kV AC overhead equipment and traction substation systems—supporting the modernization and expansion of India’s rail network.
For capital markets activity, the company has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI and is planning an IPO comprising a fresh issue of 48,40,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each.
