About HPL Electric & Power Ltd HPL Electric & Power Limited, established in 1992, is a prominent Indian manufacturer specializing in electrical and power distribution equipment. With a diverse product range covering industrial and domestic circuit protection switchgears, cables, energy-saving meters, and LED lamps, the company caters to household, commercial, and industrial electrical needs. It operates six manufacturing units across Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, supported by two advanced R&D centers in Kundli and Gurgaon.
The company went public in 2016, raising Rs 361 crore through an IPO. HPL Electric & Power has significantly expanded its product portfolio, launching a variety of new products in the meters, switchgear, lighting, and solar solutions categories over recent years. Notably, in FY 2021-22, it introduced 4G/5G compatible NB-IoT smart metering technology. This innovation aligns with its commitment to smart solutions, evidenced by projects such as the smart lighting installation in Bhopal under the Government's Smart Cities initiative.
