About Hittco Tools Ltd Hittco Tools Ltd., founded by Surendra Bhandari in 1995, specializes in manufacturing high-performance carbide and HSS tools for machining a variety of metals and acrylics. With two state-of-the-art manufacturing units in Bangalore's Peenya Industrial Area, the company employs advanced grinding methods to ensure high precision and finish in its products. Originally focusing on HSS tools since 1974, Hittco expanded its product line in 2008 to include solid carbide tools.
In its growth trajectory, Hittco acquired the assets of Hindustan Tools to increase production capacity and diversify its offerings, culminating in a public issue in 1996 to finance these initiatives. By 1997, the company expanded its drill bit capacity significantly and generated notable foreign exchange earnings. Throughout its history, Hittco has undergone several name changes to better reflect its evolving business focus, ultimately establishing a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) in 1999-2000.
