About Hisar Metal Industries Ltd Hisar Metal Industries Ltd, established in May 1990, is a prominent manufacturer of cold rolled stainless steel strips, tubes, and pipes. Originally a private entity, the company transitioned to a public limited company in June 1992. Situated in Hisar, Haryana, which is colloquially known as the 'Stainless Steel City of India,' the company began commercial production in March 1991 with an initial capacity of 1800 tonnes per annum (tpa). This capacity was subsequently increased to 3600 tpa by 1993-94 and further expanded to 6000 tpa in 1995, funded in part by a public issue.
Hisar Metal Industries operates with significant infrastructure, including 2 six-high cold rolling mills, 3 four-high cold rolling mills, and 10 tube mills.
