About Hindustan Tin Works Ltd Hindustan Tin Works, established in 1958, is a leading manufacturer and exporter in the metal packaging industry, specializing in high-performance cans, printed sheets, and various tin/metal containers for industries including food, oil, paint, and lubricants. The company, which went public in 1993, operates a fully integrated and automated manufacturing facility at Murthal, Haryana, supported by advanced machinery from UK, Germany, USA, and other countries. It serves prominent clients such as Nestle India, Heinz India, and Indian Oil Corporation.
The company expanded its capacity from 6,500 tpa to 16,754 tpa with a unit in Sahibabad, UP, financed through a public issue in 1995. Hindustan Tin Works was recognized for export excellence by EEPC and continues to enhance its export capabilities. In 2012, it launched a high-speed aluminum beverage can line with a capacity of 850 million cans annually. Its latest unit in Sonepat, Haryana, commenced operations in August 2022, marking the company's ongoing growth and modernization efforts.
