Himalayan Solar Limited, incorporated in 2015 and converted from a private to a public limited company in November 2024, provides integrated turnkey solar energy solutions. Its services cover the design, manufacturing, supply, installation and commissioning of solar products, with a primary focus on Solar Water Pumping Systems. It also offers Solar Inverter Charge Systems and Solar Rooftop Power Systems.
The company has supplied and commissioned rooftop solar power plants, solar lighting systems and solar inverter charger systems for schools, primary health centres and private households in Haryana. It has also supplied its own-brand solar PV modules to companies participating in government projects.
Himalayan Solar established a manufacturing facility in Haryana in 2017 for producing and assembling polycrystalline PV modules, with an annual capacity of 40 MW. Operations continued until August 2024, when revised MNRE efficiency requirements made polycrystalline modules less suitable for future government tenders. The company subsequently halted production and began upgrading its machinery to manufacture Mono-PERC and TOPCon bifacial solar PV modules.
The company has filed a Draft Prospectus with SEBI for a proposed IPO of 5,776,800 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The offering comprises a fresh issue of 5,178,000 shares and an offer for sale of 598,800 shares.
