About Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GSFC), established in 1962, is engaged in the production of fertilizers and chemicals, continually advancing its capabilities. A significant milestone includes the commissioning of the Caprolactam Quality project in 2018, enhancing GSFC's ability to produce international-grade Caprolactam, thereby boosting profitability and operational flexibility. The same year, GSFC successfully launched India's first Film Grade Nylon-6 unit amidst challenging circumstances, demonstrating its strong project execution skills.
Further diversification efforts include investments in Bhavnagar Energy Company Limited and expansion of the Melamine plant capacity, producing Technical Grade Urea since 2020. GSFC also formed a joint venture with Gujarat Maritime Board, establishing Gujarat Port and Logistics Company Limited in 2020. In recent years, GSFC has expanded its agro-product portfolio with the commissioning of a Sulphur 90 Plant and a Gypsum Granulation Plant, positioning itself as a versatile player in the chemicals and fertilizers industry.
