In 1992-93, GRIL undertook an expansion to boost its HDPE woven sacks capacity from 360 to 1008 TPA and introduced laminated sheets and tarpaulin production with a capacity of 792 TPA, partially financed through an equity issue. The company further increased its tarpaulin production capacity by 3177 TPA and introduced PP ropes with a 255 TPA capacity, funded by a public equity issue in 1994.
