Renowned for its flagship brand 'Star Gold', Goldstar specializes in producing various types of batteries, including storage, dry, and solar power batteries. The company utilizes an integrated plant to convert battery scrap into finished products, supporting sustainability in its operations. Under the leadership of Mulji Pansara and Amratlal Pansara, Goldstar has expanded its manufacturing capabilities from battery plates to a full spectrum of battery production. Serving export, domestic, and OEM markets, Goldstar went public in September 2017, raising Rs 7.24 Crores through a public issue of equity shares and listing on the NSE SME Emerge Platform. In 2018, it expanded its product line to include automotive, tubular, e-rickshaw, VRLA, and motorcycle batteries, incorporating advanced technology and new designs.
