About Goa Carbon Ltd Goa Carbon, established in 1967, is a premier Indian company specializing in the processing and manufacturing of Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC). It operates three major plants in Goa, Paradeep, and Bilaspur with a combined licensed capacity of over 3 lakh MT. Over the years, the company has expanded its footprint through strategic acquisitions, including Vishwalakshmi Petro Products Ltd. and Paradeep Carbons Limited, both of which were amalgamated into Goa Carbon, enhancing its production capacity and market reach.
The company has a significant presence in the CPC industry and has been recognized with a certificate of merit from CHEMEXCIL. Listed on the National Stock Exchange of India since 2007, Goa Carbon also formed GCL Global Resources SGP Pte Ltd. in Singapore, which entered a joint venture to establish a CPC manufacturing subsidiary in China, aiming for an annual production capacity of 2,80,000 MT. This international venture underscores its commitment to expanding its global footprint and meeting increasing CPC demand.
