Genus Prime Infra Limited, originally incorporated as Gulshan Chemfill Ltd in 2000, is a subsidiary of Genus Paper Products Limited. It is part of the diversified Genus Group, which has interests spanning Coal & Coke, Power Infrastructures, Electric Meters, Inverters, Electronics, and Paper & Steel. Currently, Genus Prime Infra does not operate any manufacturing facilities and has shifted its focus to real estate development as its main business.
In the 2021-22 fiscal year, the company underwent significant restructuring, with the amalgamation of its wholly-owned subsidiaries Sansar Infrastructure Private Limited, Star Vanijya Private Limited, and Sunima Trading Private Limited. Additionally, the Investment Business Division was demerged from Genus Power Infrastructures Limited into Genus Prime Infra, and Yajur Commodities Limited was merged with the company.
