About GEE Ltd GEE Ltd, originally established as General Electrodes and Equipments Limited in 1960, is a prominent manufacturer in the welding industry, producing Welding Electrodes, Copper Coated Wires, Flux Cored Wires, and Welding Fluxes. With production facilities located in Maharashtra and West Bengal, the company has significantly expanded its manufacturing capacity, notably with the Kolkata plant in 2006-07 and the Kalyan plant in 2008. This expansion increased their capacity to 13,200 MT from 7,200 MT, marking over 50 years of expertise in the welding sector.
In 2008-09, GEE Ltd underwent a strategic amalgamation with Ferroseal India Pvt. Ltd., Filarc Engineers Pvt. Ltd., and Sagar Merchandise Pvt. Ltd., effective from April 1, 2009. This merger resulted in the allotment of 901,786 equity shares, consolidating its market position. With a robust production infrastructure and strategic expansions, GEE Ltd stands as a key player in the welding industry, leveraging decades of experience and technical collaboration with Germany's Griesheim GmbH.
