About Garware Hi Tech Films Ltd Garware Hi Tech Films Ltd, established in 1957, is a prominent manufacturer of polyester films in India, previously known as Garware Polyester Limited. The company specializes in producing specialty performance polyester films, including Sun Control window films for automobiles and buildings, Paint Protection Films for vehicles, and various other films for applications such as labeling, insulation, and packaging. Initially focused on manufacturing molds and dyes for plastic production, Garware expanded by merging with Garware Plastics in 1976 and later became a part of the Garware Group.
The company has diversified into magnetic tapes and value-added products like sun-control films, exporting primarily to Western Europe, the US, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Key subsidiaries include Garware Polyester International and Global Pet Films Inc. Significant projects include the establishment of a di-methyl terephthalate (DMT) manufacturing facility and continuous enhancements in film production capabilities.
