Founded by Mr. Hiralal Tilva and Late Mr. Chhaganlal Patel, with Mr. Rakesh Chhaganlal Patel later joining the board, the company has expanded its operations in the forging industry. Specializing in closed die forged products, it serves both automotive segments, including commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and tractors, and non-automotive sectors such as electric power transmission and heavy engineering.

Ganga Forging does not market its products under its own brand but supplies semi-finished goods for further processing. In July 2018, it raised Rs 5.0022 Crore through a public issue of 23,82,000 equity shares, marking a significant step in its growth and financial strategy.
