Galaxy Agro Exports Limited, established as a private company in February 1994 and converted to a public entity in May 1995, specializes in manufacturing agricultural, gardening, and industrial tools under the 'GALAXY' brand. The company's product line includes hoes, pickaxes, shovels, garden tools, and cultivator blades, which serve various sectors such as agriculture, gardening, railways, construction, and mining. With a manufacturing unit located in Veraval, Gujarat, the company initially started operations in October 1994 with an installed capacity of 13.50 lakh pieces per annum, later expanding to 51.30 lakh pieces per annum by 1995-96 through a public issue to finance this growth.
In addition to tools, Galaxy Agro is involved in the manufacture and trading of bearings (forged rings) and provides job-work services. It established Accumax Rings Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, in April 2013 to concentrate specifically on its forged rings business. This strategic diversification allows Galaxy Agro to leverage its expansive production capabilities and cater to a broad array of industrial needs.
