G V Electricals Limited (formerly G.V. Electricals Private Limited) was incorporated on February 28, 1985 in Maharashtra and converted from a private to a public limited company effective November 4, 2025, with its name changed accordingly. The company operates in electrical infrastructure projects, operation and maintenance (O&M) services, and meter and metering-related services.
Its offerings cover installation, testing and commissioning of electricity distribution systems across 33 kV, 11 kV, high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) networks. It also provides system monitoring, fault detection, troubleshooting, and repair services for distribution networks and substations. Project work includes pole-related activities (erection and shifting), cable works (laying, jointing and termination of underground and overhead cables), and installation of distribution network components.
In metering, the company undertakes installation and replacement of energy meters, meter testing, meter reading, and other metering support activities as specified by utilities. Historically, it executed an international EPC assignment in the Middle East in 2004 for erection, testing and commissioning of substations. It has also executed O&M contracts for power distribution infrastructure in Haryana in 2016 and 2019, secured a Rs 200 crore electrical infrastructure contract in Eastern India in FY23, and secured maintenance work for LT/HT lines and substations for power distribution utilities in 2025.
The company has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI and plans a public issue of 32,50,000 equity shares (face value Rs 10), comprising a fresh issue of 30,00,000 shares and an offer for sale of 2,50,000 shares.
