Fundviser Capital (India) Limited, originally established as Bagadia Colourchem Ltd in 1985, was a manufacturer and exporter of organic pigments and dye intermediates, such as phthalocyanine blue pigments, which are utilized in a wide range of industries including paints, printing inks, and textiles. The company's manufacturing facility in MIDC Mahad, Maharashtra, had a production capacity of 462 MT per annum for CPC blue crude and other pigments.
However, in the financial year 2015-16, Fundviser Capital sold its manufacturing plant in Mahad, effectively exiting the pigment manufacturing sector. The company subsequently redefined its business focus, amending its Memorandum of Association to engage in investment and finance activities. This strategic pivot indicates a significant shift from its original manufacturing operations to becoming a player in the investment and finance sector.
