About Everest Organics Ltd Everest Organics Ltd, established in 1993 in Hyderabad, is a manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and their intermediaries. Initially promoted by S K Srihari Raju and S K Chittiramabhadra Raju, the company began commercial operations in 1993 and set up a plant in Aroor, Andhra Pradesh for bulk drugs and formulations. In 1995, Everest Organics went public to fund this project. The company started production of ciprofloxacin and omeprazole in 1996, later expanding ciprofloxacin capacity from 30 to 120 TPA and adding enrofloxacin/naproxen to its portfolio.
Further capacity enhancements included increasing Benzimidazole production by 60 TPA to a total of 120 TPA and doubling Omeprazole Op Sulphide capacity to 30 TPA. In 2007-08, the company introduced Esomeprazole Magnesium by investing in additional facilities, underlining its commitment to expanding its product range and production capabilities.
