EL Forge became the largest forging manufacturer in South India following its 1995 merger with Chendur Forge Export. The company enhanced its capabilities by expanding forging capacity and investing in state-of-the-art machinery and software. EL Forge's focus on quality is affirmed by ISO 9000 and QS 9000 certifications across multiple facilities. The company continued its expansion with a modernization project in Attur, commissioned in 2006-07. However, Shakespeare Forgings Ltd, UK, was no longer a subsidiary as of 2015, reflecting a strategic shift due to reduced UK business.
