Disa India Ltd., a part of the Copenhagen-based Disa A/S Group, specializes in manufacturing advanced foundry machinery such as moulding plants, sand plants, and shot blasting machines. With manufacturing facilities in Tumkur and Hosakote, Bangalore, the company serves major Indian markets including New Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, and Bangalore. Originally established as BMD Industries in 1984 with German collaboration, Disa India became fully integrated into Disa A/S in 2000.
The company has expanded its product range with innovations like the DISAFLEX80 and the first made-in-India DISAMATIC Vertical Moulding Machine. It has localized products such as the Wheelabrator range for non-foundry markets and launched advanced core and manipulation machines. In 2016, Disa India established a subsidiary, Bhadra Castalloys, to produce high alloy steel castings, and executed large-scale projects like the shot blasting solution for JCB, Jaipur.
