About Diligent Media Corporation Ltd Diligent Media Corporation Limited, established in Maharashtra in 2005, initially emerged as a joint venture between India's prominent Essel Group and Bhaskar Group. The company launched its flagship English daily newspaper, Daily News Analysis (DNA), in Mumbai in July 2005. Following Bhaskar Group's exit in 2012, the company became a subsidiary of Zee Media Corporation Limited. A strategic shift saw its Print Media Division demerge and operate independently, focusing on digital media, including newspaper distribution, video, and book publications.
In 2017, Diligent Media expanded its presence with independent DNA editions in Jaipur and Ahmedabad and launched a Marathi weekly, Zee Marathi Disha. The company underwent significant restructuring, consolidating its print media business with Zee Media Corporation's subsidiaries. Despite ceasing its printing operations in October 2019, Diligent Media launched the DNA Hindi Edition in 2022-23, highlighting its continued evolution in the digital media landscape.
