Digjam Limited, originally established as Digjam Textiles Limited in 2015, is a textile company focused on trading and manufacturing high-quality woolen and worsted fabrics under the brand 'DIGJAM' in Jamnagar, Gujarat. It became Digjam Limited after a name change in March 2016. The company underwent a major restructuring through a Scheme of Amalgamation, sanctioned by the Gujarat High Court, merging with its predecessor, the erstwhile Digjam Limited. The merger, effective from March 2016, transferred the entire business operations to Digjam Limited as a going concern.
Post-merger, Digjam Limited issued 8,76,41,621 equity shares and 5,00,000 8% non-convertible redeemable preference shares to previous shareholders of the erstwhile Digjam Limited, maintaining a one-to-one shareholding ratio. This strategic consolidation aimed to streamline operations and strengthen its market position in the textile industry.
