About Dhenu Buildcon Infra Ltd Dhenu Buildcon India Ltd, originally The Hingir-Rampur Coal Company Limited, was established in 1909 and transitioned into coal mining in 2011 with operations in Bihar. The company became publicly listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1958. Following the nationalization of its coal mines in 1973, Dhenu shifted its focus to leasing as a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) in 1986. However, changes in RBI regulations led to the discontinuation of its leasing business in 2006. Since 2008, Dhenu Buildcon India Ltd has been engaged in derivatives trading, focusing primarily on securities investment. Despite challenges from previous financial losses and the COVID-19 pandemic, the company continues to operate as a medium-sized NBFC. It remains in pursuit of new growth avenues to stabilize and improve its financial standing.
