The firm was subsequently converted into a public limited company named Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds Limited, incorporated on February 20, 2024, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation issued by the Central Registration Centre.
The company operates in seed manufacturing, covering the development, multiplication, processing, and supply of seeds for a range of field crops and vegetables. Its production process follows multiple structured stages and uses improved genetic seed material procured from recognised sources, which is then multiplied, processed, conditioned, and handled using prescribed agronomic and processing practices to produce seeds suitable for agricultural use, including for supply to farmers for crop cultivation.
Its seed processing unit is located at Jashapar, Kalavad, in Jamnagar district, Gujarat. The company’s stated main objects include growing vegetable seeds (except beet seed) and undertaking agricultural activities on a fee or contract basis, such as field preparation, crop establishment and treatment, spraying, transplanting, thinning, harvesting, and pest control.
The company has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI and is planning an initial public offering via a fresh issue of 27,00,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each.
