Transitioning to a public company in 1992, it has grown to become one of India's largest producers of value-added yarns, boasting a group turnover of $100 million from six manufacturing facilities. The company operates a diverse range of production facilities, including a weaving plant in Daman, a doubling plant in Silvassa, and multiple spinning mills with significant spindle capacity. Key installations include 58 TFOs, twisting machines, and air texturizing machines to enhance production capabilities.
In 2019, Damodar Industries expanded with a new spinning mill in Amravati, Maharashtra, incorporating advanced post-spinning technologies like TFO, fancy doubling, and yarn dyeing. This robust infrastructure and strategic expansions underline its significant presence in the textile industry, catering to the increasing demand for high-quality yarn products.
