About Cosmo Ferrites Ltd Cosmo Ferrites Ltd, established in 1985 and promoted by Ashok Jaipuria and Cosmo Films, specializes in manufacturing soft ferrite cores, utilized in various applications such as transformers, lighting, and electronic devices. The company began production in 1987 in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, with technical collaboration from Germany's Veb Elektro-Consult. Despite early challenges due to inadequate technology, CFL achieved its first profit in 1993-94 and has since focused on R&D to enhance product quality and export capabilities, achieving significant growth in export earnings.
CFL has consistently expanded its production capacity to meet rising global demand, increasing market share, particularly among domestic CTV manufacturers. The company holds IECQ and ISO 9002 certifications, confirming its commitment to quality. Recent expansions include the installation of a solar power plant and new kilns, boosting production capacity to 3600 MT. These strategic expansions and technological enhancements have positioned CFL as a competitive player in the ferrite core market, catering to both domestic and international customers.
