About Competent Automobiles Company Ltd Competent Automobiles Co. Ltd. (CACL), founded in 1985, is part of the Delhi-based Competent Group under the leadership of Sh. Raj Chopra. The company operates in the automobile sector, primarily as a dealer for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. CACL has a strong geographical presence with five showrooms and three workshops in Delhi, two showrooms and a workshop in Haryana, and two showrooms and two workshops in Himachal Pradesh. It is recognized as a top dealer for Maruti Udyog, a joint venture between the Indian government and Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan.
CACL is part of a diversified group with a collective turnover of Rs 360 crore. The company has also partnered with WAXOYL AG of Switzerland to offer long-term protection services for vehicles and machinery. Recent expansions include a showroom cum workshop in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, launched in March 2005, and a new showroom in Gurgaon, opened in December 2006.
