In 2017, Coastal Corporation expanded operations to Nellore and Bhubaneswar to meet growing demand. By 2019, the company had solidified its role in aquaculture, and in 2020, began constructing a modern shrimp processing facility at Kakinada SEZ. Further expansion included establishing Coastal Biotech Private Limited in 2021 and completing a shrimp processing unit at Kakinada SEZ in 2022, supported by a 3.6 MW solar power plant for captive use.
