About Citius Transnet Investment Trust Citius Transnet Investment Trust is a SEBI-registered Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) established on July 21, 2025. The Trust focuses on managing a diversified portfolio of transport infrastructure assets in India, including toll-based and annuity-based road assets. Sponsorship is provided by Epic TransNet Infrastructure Private Limited (ETIPL), while operations are managed by EAAA TransInfra Managers Limited (ETML), a part of the EAAA Alternatives platform. EAAA is a prominent alternative asset management firm in India, with 15 years of experience and an AUM of Rs 629.70 billion as of June 2025.
Citius currently oversees 10 operational road projects spanning 3,411 lane-kms across India. Its portfolio includes major transport infrastructure projects such as four-lane highways in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Kerala. These projects are developed under Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models, utilizing both toll and annuity mechanisms. Notable projects include the Ahmedabad-Viramgam highway, a six-lane section of NH-47 in Kerala, and multiple signature bridges in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
The Trust's focus on infrastructure development aligns with India's growing transport sector and infrastructure resilience strategy. Citius has recently filed a Draft Offer Document with SEBI to launch an IPO, targeting a fundraise of Rs 1,340 crore through a fresh issue of units. This IPO is expected to enable the Trust to further expand its asset base in India's burgeoning infrastructure sector, capitalizing on government initiatives and public-private partnerships.
