About Chemfab Alkalis Ltd Chemfab Alkalis Limited, initially incorporated as Teamec Chlorates Limited in 2009, transitioned to its current name in 2017 following a merger. The company specializes in the production of basic inorganic chemicals such as caustic soda, liquid chlorine, and hydrogen gas, along with PVCO pipes. Pioneering in technological advancements, Chemfab was the first in India to implement Monopolar Electrolysers and later BiTACr Electrolysers from Japan's Chlorine Engineers Corporation. The company has made significant infrastructure improvements, including a fully automatic fire hydrant system and a new caustic concentration plant commissioned in 2015. Further expanding its capabilities, Chemfab increased its production capacity to 155 tpd in 2021, with plans to reach 200 tpd. It also launched a state-of-the-art RO Plant to enhance water resource management. The company is also pursuing a greenfield project expansion through its subsidiary, Chemfab Alkalis Karaikal Limited. Certified with ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, Chemfab is committed to environmental and operational excellence, utilizing expert consultancy for continuous improvement.
