After transitioning to a Public Limited Company in 1994, it has grown into a notable player in the rice export market, recognized as a Star Export House. The company exports to over 80 countries, including Europe, the Middle East, and America. Its production facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring high-quality rice processing. The main manufacturing plant in Karnal, Haryana, boasts a capacity of 12 metric tonnes per hour, supported by grading and sorting units in Amritsar and Kandla.
The company's flagship brand, "Maharani," along with "Mithas" and "Begum," lead its basmati rice offerings. It also markets non-basmati rice under "Green World Aromatic Rice" and innovative products like "Maharani Diabetics Rice." The company expanded its operations with a new packing unit in Gandhidham, Gujarat, in 2018 and began trading on the National Stock Exchange in May 2021.
