About Candour Techtex Ltd Chandni Engineering Ltd (CEL), originally incorporated as Amita Texturisers Pvt Ltd in June 1986, shifted to its current name in January 1990. The company delayed its operational activities until 1993 due to a downturn in the textile machinery industry, but subsequently commenced a project in 1994 to establish a manufacturing plant in Daman. This project was partially funded by a public issue in October 1994. CEL specializes in producing automatic and semi-automatic weaving machines and has established technical collaborations with South Korean entities Hanjin Textile Machinery and Sinkwang Machinery Works for advanced loom technologies.
By 1999-2000, CEL emerged as a key player in the chenille yarn market, both domestically and internationally. The company has successfully incorporated technology for Auto Cop Change Looms from Sing Wang Machinery Co Ltd, South Korea, enhancing its manufacturing capabilities. This strategic move has solidified CEL's position in the textile machinery sector, offering innovative and high-demand textile solutions.
