Black Rose Industries Ltd., originally Asia Fab Ltd, established in 1990, operates in textile manufacturing in Maharashtra and wind power generation in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The company also has significant interests in chemical manufacturing, notably acrylamide and polyacrylamide. It launched India's first acrylamide plant in 2013-2014, which has since expanded its capacity significantly.
The expansion efforts include a major capacity increase for both its polyacrylamide liquids and solids production. By 2021, the company had commissioned a 40,000 MT polyacrylamide liquid plant in Gujarat. Black Rose Industries also maintains a strategic partnership with a Japanese multinational, enhancing its technical and marketing capabilities. Additionally, it operates through a wholly-owned Japanese subsidiary, B.R. Chemicals Co., Ltd., established in 2011.
