About Bhilwara Spinners Ltd Bhilwara Spinners Ltd., a Bhilwara Group company from Rajasthan, specializes in manufacturing cotton yarn, synthetic blended yarn, hosiery yarn, and sewing threads. Originally part of Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving, it became independent in 1990-91 and exports to Western Europe and East Asia. The company raised funds through a public issue in April 1993 to support modernization and working capital needs, addressing a cost overrun with internal resources.
In 1995-96, Bhilwara Spinners expanded its operations with a balancing-cum-modernisation program, increasing spindle capacity and investing in power generation. A significant structural change occurred in 2000-01 with the amalgamation of Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Limited. Despite past financial challenges, including accumulated losses, the company recently initiated a new plant in 2023 with 60 looms, capable of producing 116 lakh meters of denim fabric annually, signaling continued growth and modernization efforts.
