About Bharat Rasayan Ltd Bharat Rasayan Limited, established on May 15, 1989, is a public limited company specializing in the manufacturing of technical formulations and intermediates for pesticides. The company produces technical grade pesticides such as Metaphenoxy Benzaldehyde, Fenvalerate, Cypermethrin, Ethyl Ester, and Isoproturon. Its products serve as essential raw materials for pesticide formulating units aimed at plant protection and enhancing agricultural output. Notable clients include Searle, Arlabs, United Phosphorous, and Ankur Chemicals.
In 1993, Bharat Rasayan expanded its production capacity and introduced new pesticide manufacturing facilities. By 1998-99, it increased the output capacity for fenvalerate and cypermethrin to 800 MT and 650 MT, respectively. The company expanded further with the establishment of a manufacturing plant in Dahej, Gujarat, through its subsidiary, Siris Crop Sciences Limited, which was later amalgamated into Bharat Rasayan. This strategic move enhanced its production capabilities with additional units in Medak, Andhra Pradesh, and Dahej, Gujarat.
