About Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Ltd Bhagiradha Chemicals and Industries, founded in 1993, is a pesticide manufacturer based in Andhra Pradesh, India. Initially focused on producing technical grade chlorpyriphos, the company expanded its production capabilities with modernized facilities financed by ICICI Ltd. and the Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. By 1999, the company increased its chlorpyriphos production capacity to 1000 MT.
In the early 2000s, Bhagiradha diversified into weedicides, launching the production of triclopyr in 2004 and establishing a commercial plant for both fluroxypyr and triclopyr by 2005. The weedicide unit was designated as a 100% Export-Oriented Unit in 2007. Further expansion continued with the commissioning of production Block-III in 2018, underscoring the company's commitment to growth and innovation in agrochemical manufacturing.
