About Banka Bioloo Ltd Banka BioLoo Limited, founded on August 31, 2012, specializes in sanitation infrastructure and hygienic solutions for waste management. Transitioning to a public company in November 2017, it utilizes innovative anaerobic biodigester technology, licensed from the DRDO, to manage waste onsite. The company provides sanitation services, including fecal sludge treatment, packaged sewage treatment plants, and operations and maintenance for the Indian Railways. In 2015, Banka BioLoo launched a school sanitation program and established a manufacturing plant in Alwar.
The company raised Rs 12.63 Crores through a public equity issue in February 2018. Banka BioLoo is ISO 9001:2015 certified, ensuring quality in manufacturing and maintenance services. In 2020-21, it established Banka Earth Foundation, later divesting from it in March 2022. Megaliter Varunaa Private Limited became its wholly-owned subsidiary in June 2022. Banka BioLoo also holds a 25% stake in the Sustainable Sanitation Industry Association.
