About Bang Overseas Ltd Bang Overseas Ltd, established in 1992, is a prominent player in the fashion fabrics and ready-to-wear apparel industry. Initially a textile trading company, it pivoted to designing fashion fabrics in 1998, outsourcing manufacturing from countries like Turkey and Portugal. The company launched its own brand, 'Bodywaves,' and ventured into men's ready-to-wear garments with the 'Thomas Scott' brand in 2002. It owns manufacturing units in Bangalore with a significant production capacity and a centralized logistics center near Bhiwandi to support its supply chain.
The firm expanded internationally by establishing subsidiaries in Slovakia and Hong Kong and entered a joint venture in Macedonia for garment manufacturing and trade. In 2011, it demerged its retail operations into Thomas Scott (India) Limited and later acquired A.S. Raiment Private Limited for shirt manufacturing. Bang Overseas Ltd's products are available across 157 sales points in India, including its retail outlets and major large-format stores.
