About Axita Cotton Ltd Axita Cotton Limited, established in 2013 and transformed into a public entity in 2018, is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The company specializes in the manufacturing, trading, processing, and finishing of cotton bales. Originating from a family-run business, Aditya Oil Industries, Axita Cotton has grown from trading seed cotton and cotton seed oil to operating a significant cotton ginning and pressing plant with an annual capacity of 87,600 MT. The facility, located in the cotton-rich region of Mahesana, Gujarat, produces two main varieties of cotton bales: Shankar-6 and MCU-5/MECH.
With a focus on sustainability, Axita Cotton is GOTS certified and has expanded its operations internationally, exporting products to countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Vietnam since 2015. The company also established Axita Exports Private Limited for broader export initiatives. Recently, Axita Cotton has ventured into sustainable cotton farming and the production of cotton yarn, enhancing its product offerings and market reach.
