About AVT Natural Products Ltd AVT Natural Products Limited, established in 1986, is part of the A V Thomas group and specializes in producing, trading, and distributing oleoresins and value-added teas. With production facilities in India, the company predominantly exports its products. It operates a 200-tpd solvent extraction plant in Madhya Pradesh for processing soybeans and minor seeds, producing 56,500 tpa of de-oiled cakes for export. In 1994-95, AVT launched coconut oil in Karnataka and sunflower oil in Kerala and began commercial oleoresin production. The company also cultivates marigolds for oleoresin extraction and exports tea.
In addition to its core operations, AVT Natural Products has diversified into renewable energy with a 600 KW windmill project in Tamil Nadu, commissioned in 2008. In 2013-14, the company expanded into health supplements with its 'Optim Health' brand in select cities. These initiatives highlight AVT's commitment to expanding its product portfolio and sustainable practices.
