AVP Infracon Ltd., originally established as AVP Constructions Private Limited in 2009, is a Chennai-based infrastructure development company that recently transitioned to a public limited company in November 2023. The company specializes in constructing complex infrastructure projects, including expressways, national highways, flyovers, bridges, irrigation facilities, and urban development projects like hospitals and commercial spaces. Founded by Mr. D Prasanna and Mr. B Venkateshwarlu, AVP Infracon has successfully completed nearly 40 projects worth Rs 313.21 Crores, primarily in Tamil Nadu.
The company employs Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) methods for project execution. In 2023, AVP Infracon completed key road construction projects, including NH 48, NH 67, and LC 132. It also holds a 90% stake in a joint venture with Jawahar Constructions, named JWP-AVP, focused on road construction. AVP Infracon is planning a public offering of 69,79,200 fresh equity shares to support its growth and expansion.
