Established in 2015, ASEL emerged from a merger involving The Oudh Sugar Mills Limited and Upper Ganges Sugar and Industries Limited. It operates four sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh, with a crushing capacity of 31,800 TCD, two distilleries with a recent capacity upgrade to 325 KLPD, and a 74 MW cogeneration power facility.
The company is involved in the production and sale of sugar, ethanol, spirits, and by-products such as molasses and bagasse.
